Layla Costescu (She/Her) as Narrator / Young Wayna

Layla Costescu (Narrator, Little Wayna) performs for the 1st time in ‘Puffs; Or Seven Increasingly Eventful Years at a Certain School of Magic and Magic’! Layla has always enjoyed acting and was featured in a small performance of ‘The Wizard of Oz’ in elementary school. After taking a Grade 9 drama course, she rediscovered her love for acting. She would like to thank her director, Mr. Sakiadis and Mme. Desjardins for considering her for the role and her parents for supporting her through her passions!

Jacob Dylan (He/Him) as Wayne Hopkins

Jacob Dylan (Wayne Hopkins) is making his triumphant return to the Trinity stage.  After playing William Henry Blore in last year's production of ‘And Then There Were None’ by Agatha Christie, this time around he is hoping to play off his youth while playing Wayne, the 11 year old boy wizard. Jacob has always had a passion for performance. Whether it be dramatic or musical, if there is a stage Jacob will be there. Due to more years than he would like to admit in improv classes, he hopes to bring some spontaneity to the character of Wayne. More than anything else, however, Jacob is simply a boy wizard looking forward to what the future has in store.

Alexx Stecher (Any) as Megan Jones

Alexx Stecher (Megan Jones) takes on her first lead role in this production. Alexx has always had a passion for theatre, and is very excited to be performing a role that seemed all too similar to her grade 7 self. Alexx has also previously performed as Antonia Marston in ‘And Then There Were None.’ She is also beyond appreciative of the amount of effort put into this show and is so proud of the outcome; this only makes her more passionate about theatre!

Dominic Gonsalves (He/Him) as Oliver Rivers

Dominic Gonsalves (Oliver Rivers) has loved acting since he was 7 years old and with his Grade 9 and Grade 10 Drama courses, he is well-educated on many aspects of Drama, Acting, and Performance. Dominic, in addition to his stage work, also has 8 years of TV and movie acting under his belt. His dedication to the art represents his passion and his will to act and perform which show no signs of slowing down. He stars in this year's production where he currently acts as one of the lead characters named Oliver Rivers in his first, but certainly not last stage, performance called 'Puffs'. His inspiration comes from his parents’ support, Mr. Sakiadis’ love of teaching and guidance in his first stage performance experience, and the insightful ideas from Mme Desjardins.

Evan Kwong (He/Him) as Cedric / Mr. Voldy

Evan Kwong (Cedric, Mr. Voldy) is performing on the stage for the first time, having just a few Drama classes worth of experience under his belt. He has taken the role of characters like Oberon and Theseus in ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’ and Jason in ‘Medea’ under the direction of Mr. Sakiadis in these courses. Evan often partakes in singing and playing music, and wishes to implement those experiences into his acting to improve his performance. He is greatly appreciative of the entire cast and crew of ‘Puffs’, as well as Mr. Sakiadis and Mme. Desjardins, for creating a welcoming space in which he can be incorporated comfortably, even as he experiences production for the first time!

Chole Melvin-Bedford (She/Her) as Leanne/ Myrtle/ Scorpy

Chloe Melvin-Bedford (Leanne, Myrtle, Scorpy), steps into the limelight in Trinity Pit Stop Theatre Co.'s  ‘Puffs (or Seven Increasingly Eventful Years at a Certain School of Magic and Magic)’. Outside of school, she hails experience in both dancing and acting. Currently, she is participating in her 5th season dancing at the Loft School of Art and Dance. In previous years, Chloe has worked in summer camps that help hone her skills in the world of theatre. She would like to express her gratitude to the cast, crew, and everyone who made this production possible. Chloe gives special thanks to Mr. Sakiadis, Mme. Desjardins, Sophie Mora, and her family for all believing in her and her love for theatre.

Jack Hall (He/Him)
as J Finch / Viktor

Jack Hall (J Finch, Viktor) makes his 3rd debut on this stage. He performed in last year’s production of 'And Then There Were None' and Holy Trinity’s 2020 production of 'You’re A Good Man Charlie Brown'.  He continues to enjoy his theatre experience. He would like to thank all the cast and his wonderful director (Mr. Sakiadis), his wonderful stage manager (Hannah Castillo) and his wonderful resource and prop director (Mme. Desjardins). He hopes everyone enjoys the show and thanks everyone for coming!

Miriam Chartrand (She/Her)
as Sally Perks / Rita Scooter

Miriam Chartrand (Sally Perks, Rita Scooter), made her acting debut in ToTo Too’s 2014 production of 'The Lights of Shangri-La', as the voice of Child #3. She made her school stage debut with Holy Trinity’s Jr. Pit Stop Theatre Co. as Hillary Hook in their production of 'The Fearsome Pirate Frank', in 2019. following the pandemic, she returned to the stage as General Mackenzie, in The Holy Trinity Pit Stop Theatre Company's production of Agatha Christie’s ‘And Then There Were None’. She’s in her 12th season dancing with The Loft School of Art and Dance and this year took over the role of teaching their Acting Theatre Company, after 7 years as a member. She is incredibly grateful for the ongoing support and creativity from the cast, crew, and director, throughout this entire process. Also, to the HT Drama Department for all their support over the past four years!

Calais Gall-Herdocia (She/Her) as Ernie Mac / Zach Smith

Calais Gall-Herdocia (Ernie Mac, Zach Smith) is a hard worker who has always had a love for theater. Once upon a time, a young Calais was in the production of 'Stations of the Cross', where she played the role of Pontius Pilate. The next year Calais had fallen in love with theatre and played the role of William in 'A Christmas Carol'. Later that school year she was cast as Jesus in the 'Stations of the Cross'. Although Covid-19 affected many children's journeys, Calais stayed dedicated to theater. In the eighth grade, Calais received the Drama award and in ninth grade, she took the Drama course. Now Calais is excited to partake in this year's Holy Trinity Pit Stop Theater production of 'Puffs'! 

Rowan Daley (She/Her) as Hannah / Ginny

Rowan Daley (Hannah, Ginny) is returning to the stage of the Trinity Pit Stop Theater Company, as the loveable and goofy characters of Hannah and Ginny. She Is thrilled to join this group again and act her heart out. Rowan performed in ‘And Then There Were None’ by Agatha Christie as the comical and delightfully arrogant Antonia Marston. She adores theatre and has been to numerous performances, along with participating in other previous shows, such as ‘You're A Good Man Charlie Brown’. Rowan actively participates in different drama and theatre activities in school, and is willing to give her all for the show. Rowan has grown close with all of her cast and crew members and can’t wait for you to see what they have been working so hard on for the past several months.

Sophie Mora (They/She/He) as Susie Bones / Frenchy / Bippy 

Sophie Mora (Susie Bones, Frenchy, and Bippy) has loved performing since she could talk. This passion for performance led her to lots of theatre camps when she was in elementary school. Her first foray into theatre was at a musical theatre camp playing in the ensemble of ‘Matilda’. Since then she’s dived into the world of theatre and acting. Sophie also has experience in professional shows working backstage for Chamberfest and Kanata Theatre. Sophie has been a part of the Grade 9 and 10 Drama classes and looks forward to every day she gets to go into class. In her spare time she enjoys watching musicals and movie musicals. Sophie would like to thank Mr. Sakiadis and Mme. Desjardins for giving her a chance to be part of this production. She would also like to thank Chloe for convincing her to audition and sign up for Drama class and her parents for supporting her.

Isabella MacKenzie (She/Her) as Harry / Helga / Colin

Isabella MacKenzie (Harry, Helga, and Colin) has always loved performing, as she started dance lessons at the age of five and has been a tap dancer for over ten years.  She has picked up playing both the alto saxophone and the piano in highschool. In terms of theatre, she played Veronica in an elementary school production of “The Stations of the Cross”, and has also acted in and even written a few skits for a local youth group she volunteers at. She gained some backstage experience as a props person in HT Junior Pit Stop Theater co’s 2020 production of 'You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown', and is happy to be returning in an acting role years later. Isabella has always been amazed by the process of bringing a dramatic production together, especially when it comes to bringing a character to life and portraying them in a way that stays true to the source material while also incorporating some of her own creativity into the process. She would like to thank her family, but especially her father for always coming to her shows.

Ten Schofield (She/He) as Professor McG / First Headmaster / Professor Lanny / Mr Nick / Ms Babble / Rowena / Death Buddy

Ten Schofield (McG and Various) is performing for the second time on stage, previously having been the understudy for Vera Claythorne in ‘And Then There Were None’, and now with Trinity Pit Stop Theatre Co.’s production of 'Puffs'! This year she has taken on the role of Set Lead alongside costumes and props. The work has been incredibly rewarding and she can’t wait to see it all come together during the performance. Ten wants to thank her family and fellow cast and crew for always being supportive and encouraging of her pursuits in theatre. Ten is always seeking opportunities in and out of school theatre. She has volunteered at Kanata Theatre for set building and as a stagehand for ‘Having Relations’ and plans to return in the future. Ten also has her amazing teachers Mr. Sakiadis and Mme. Desjardins to thank for guiding and mentoring her through her high school theatre career as well as Heidi Roberts from Kanata Theatre for teaching her everything she knows about sets. Ten always greatly enjoys her time with everyone in Trinity Pit Stop Theatre Co. and hopes to continue her theatre career through senior year and past graduation.

Ryan Groulx (He/Him) as Uncle Dave / Blondo / Clumsy Longbottom / Second Headmaster / Fat Friar / Professor Turban / Mr Bagman / Certain Potions Teacher

Ryan Groulx (Uncle Dave and Various) debuts as an actor in the Trinity Pit Stop Theatre Co. production of Matt Cox’s ‘Puffs’. He has loved acting for as long as he can remember and has been a long time drama student at Trinity. He has always aspired to act in front of a crowd but has only recently gotten that opportunity. He plays many parts in ‘Puffs’ but tries his hardest to make them all equally as memorable and distinct from each other. Ryan would like to thank everyone cast, crew, and beyond who were involved in this massive project as it could not be possible without everyone collaborating together. He hopes to see many of them in next year’s production!

London Cash (She/Her) as Xavia Jones / Dragon / Goyle / Real Mr Moody

Ever since a young age, London Cash (Xavia Jones and Various) was obsessed with the art of acting and theater. London is a very energetic and extroverted person, therefore theater was just perfect for her! After years of adoring it, she landed her first role in 'The Wizard of Oz' at age 10 starring as The Wicked Witch of the West. She performed that play to a grand audience and was rewarded with a drama certificate afterward. Later in 9th grade, she enrolled in the Holy Trinity Drama class where she learned so many amazing skills and tricks about acting. Now with her newfound love for Drama, in Grade 10, she decides to join the Holy Trinity Pit Stop starring  in the grand performance called 'Puffs'.

Elizabeth Ducette (She/Her) as Goldstein / Professor Sprouty / Death Buddy / Professor Locky

Elizabeth Ducette (Prof. Sprouty and Various) has performed and assisted in smaller plays in her community and churches in the past, but this is her biggest performance yet. She enjoys writing and has very much enjoyed getting to know more people and being able to be part of something so magical. She would like to thank the whole cast and crew for allowing her to be part of something bigger than she could have ever imagined.

Lucia Tamez-Herrejon (She/Her) as Death Buddy / Ric Gryff

Lucia Tamez-Herrejon (Ric Gryff, Death Buddy) began her acting in the summer entering Grade 8, performing short scenes in front of a small crowd. She is new to production but finds great enjoyment in acting. When she started Drama class in Grade 9, she was able to express herself in ways she never knew she could. Being in her first-ever production show is a very big thing for her. She enjoys singing, dancing, and doing construction but has always loved the thrill of acting in front of an audience! Lucia would like to thank the cast and crew that have welcomed her into production and her family and friends who have supported her along the way. She would like to give a big thanks to Mr. Sakiadis and Mme. Desjardins for helping her every step of the way. She could not be more grateful and more excited to be a part of the cast in this year’s performance of 'Puffs'!

With a rich background in acting, Mr. Sakiadis imparts his passion and knowledge to his students, elevating their performance skills to unprecedented levels of excellence. He finds immense joy in collaborating with such a remarkably talented group of students, witnessing their boundless creativity and camaraderie come alive on stage. Join us on our theatrical journey of ‘Puffs’ as we create magic and park the imaginations of our audience.

Julie Desjardins (She/Her)

Mme Desjardins could not ask for a better first foray into the backstage world of theatre and is thrilled to be along for the magical adventure of ‘Puffs’. Quite possibly the Puffiest Puff to ever Puff, Mme Desjardins loves seeing all the hard work, enthusiasm and creative energy the cast and crew have brought to the stage! She thanks Mr. Sakiadis for his vision and creative passion. And a great big thank you to all her family and friends for their unwavering support! She hopes you enjoy all the magic! 

Hannah Castillo (She/Her)
Sorcerer's Stage Master

Hannah Castillo works as the stage manager for the Trinity Pit Shop Theatre Co. production of 'Puffs'. She previously worked as the stage manager for last year’s production of 'And Then There Were None'. Hannah is thrilled to be back this year and beyond excited to put on this show alongside the cast and crew. Hannah has been and is enrolled in dramatic arts classes so she has knowledge of the world of production and theatre.  Hannah would like to thank her director, Mr. Sakiadis for all his guidance and Madame Desjardins for all her support and resourcefulness.

Samantha Clattenburg

Diagon Dressing Ally 

Samantha Clattenburg (Costume Design) is working again in the costume department for ‘Puffs’. This is her second time working backstage for a production and she’s excited to help again! She helps wherever she is needed, like construction or props, but her love for fashion and costume is still her number one. She’s excited to be helping out and is super happy she gets to work with her friends, get closer to everyone again and watch everyone get stronger as a team together. Samantha would like to thank the directors and teachers helping with this production for the opportunity to help out once again.

Lumos Luminary

Zero Nuhn-Trevethan (Lights) is excited to participate in the production of 'Puffs'. He previously did lights for ‘And Then There Were None’ with Trinity Pit Stop Theatre Co. last year, and is thrilled to return! He enjoys technology and the art of bringing the stage to life through lights, so he is happy to participate by doing so, as well as lending a hand wherever needed, such as costumes and set construction. He's had an avid love of theatre his entire life, so being a part of ‘Puffs’ is definitely a dream come true. Zero would like to thank the directors, teachers, cast, and fellow crew members for making this project such a fun and memorable experience.

Victoria Seto Acevedo (Sound Production) takes on the role of providing sound and ambience for the stage. This is her second time being part of the technical side of a production, having been the sound director for 'And Then There Were None', and she is happy to get to work backstage again. She enjoys being a part of many Drama related activities and is excited to get to see this play come to life. She would like to thank the Director for allowing her to be a part of this experience, as well as the crew and cast for making this a memorable time.
